熊川陣屋跡地奥にあり、水車を備えた源氏蛍育生のビオトープとなっていて、シーズンには幻想的な蛍の乱舞が観られます。観賞時期は６月中旬〜下旬。In the back of the former site of Kumagawa-juku magistrate’s office is a habitat for the rare Genji fireflies, equipped with a waterwheel. In the summer, the fireflies can be seen dancing beautifully in the night. The firefly-viewing season is from around mid-June until the end of the month.
